Creating Notes & Folders

Use folders and notes to organize your study materials by subject, course, or topic.

Creating a New Note

There are several ways to create a new note.

Menu

  1. Open the Notes sidebar.
  2. Hover over any item.
  3. Click the menu that appears on the right.
  4. Select New Note.

From the Sidebar

  1. Open the Notes sidebar.
  2. Locate the My Notes section with 3 buttons on the side
  3. Click on the + icon

Creating a New Folder

To create a folder:

  1. Open the Notes sidebar.
  2. Locate the My Notes section with 3 buttons on the side
  3. Click on the folder + icon
  4. Rename by double tapping the folder

Folders can contain:

  • Notes
  • Other folders

Renaming Notes and Folders

To rename an item:

  1. Hover over the note or folder.
  2. Click the menu.
  3. Select Rename.
  4. Enter the new name.

Rearranging Items

Drag and drop notes and folders to reorganize them.

You can:

  • Move notes between folders
  • Reorder notes within a folder
  • Nest folders inside other folders

Collapsing Folders

Click the arrow next to a folder to collapse or expand its contents.

This helps keep large workspaces organized.

Duplicating Notes

To create a copy of a note:

  1. Hover over the note.
  2. Click the menu.
  3. Select Duplicate.

The duplicated note will appear in the same folder.

Deleting Notes and Folders

To delete an item:

  1. Hover over the note or folder.
  2. Click the menu.
  3. Select Delete.

Warning: Deleting a folder also deletes everything inside it.

Hover over any note or folder and click to access:

  • New Note
  • New Folder
  • Rename
  • Duplicate
  • Export
  • Delete

Structure by subject:

Medicine

Physics
